INVIYA® launches mobile app for brand positioning

INVIYA®, a high-tech spandex filament product from Indorama Industries Limited (IIL), launched a mobile app for Android at the Fibres & Yarns Expo held in Mumbai from April 7-9, 2016 as a part of the brand positioning initiatives by the company, according to a press statement issued by IIL.

The launch of the app was inaugurated by Pawan Poddar, joint managing director of Siyaram Silk Mills and Avinash Poddar, director and business head of J Hampstead. The app is expected to increase the existing customer base of the company by helping the industry in digitalising business processes.

The app will serve as a one-stop-destination for all spandex based textile b2b needs, and is available for a free download at Google play store. Its key features include handy fashion tips, INVIYA®’s applications and end usage, guidelines for using INVIYA®, a global textile event calendar, a textile calculator and a currency convertor.

Commenting on the launch of the app, Shalendra Vasudeva, chief marketing officer of IIL said, “The smart and easy to use interface comes with various features pertaining to the textile value chain, turning your calling device into a spandex handbook. In times to come, the INVIYA® app will revolutionise the textile manufacturing industry.”

“Thanks to our advanced algorithm, the next version of the app will be equipped with features like order tracking tool, 3D body scanning software for finding the perfect fit and much more, making this the most efficient app in the textile b2b space,” Vasudeva said.
