its existing range of products with the launch of I-300 series.
I-300 series of products has been developed by the proficient team of application development engineers and polymer chemists to cater to the growing demands of specialized products and customer needs.
I-300 series products have significantly higher tenacity and strength. This enables the customers of INVIYA® to run their equipment at higher speeds without worrying about rupture of filaments, which is a common phenomenon with low quality products.
In addition to that, I-300 products have higher running loads and better frictional properties, which impart greater degree of stretch and recovery to all kinds of textile manufacturing processes like core spinning, draw texturizing and circular knitting.
I-300 products have greater resistance to heat, which makes it suitable for working along with any other textile material like polyester, viscose, cotton or blend of more than one textile raw material and retain the elastic properties & dimensional stability even after exposure to high temperatures during processing.
“Garments produced with I-300 products result in better shape retention after prolonged wearing of stretch products like denims, bottoms weights, leggings and intimate wear. These segments have been registering double digit growth in India and good quality spandex is a key driver for this”, said Mr. Shalendra Vasudeva, Marketing Head.
“Our cross functional team is also collaborating with customers to offer warp knitting products and special woven fabrics exhibiting 4 way stretch properties”, he added.
INVIYA®, a part of Indorama Corporation, is the only brand of spandex being produced in India and the subcontinent. Indorama Corporation is a US$10 Billion persified industrial group founded by Mr. S.P. Lohia. INVIYA® has made successful inroads in international markets and is also preparing for a proposed capacity expansion at its current manufacturing site in Himachal Pradesh.
