Indorama Industries Limited (IIL), a part of Indorama Corporation, which is headquartered at Singapore.
Indorama Corporation is one of Asia’s leading chemical holding companies. It’s origins trace back to 1975 with the start-up of P.T Indo-Rama Synthetics in Indonesia by its founders, Mr. M.L. Lohia and his son Mr. S.P. Lohia. Today, Indorama manufactures a multitude of products including Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Polyester, Fertilizers, Textiles, and Medical Gloves.
The state of art facility, which is spread across 25 acres of land in the industrial hub of Baddi –HP, started it’s commercial production in March 2012. Being the first spandex manufacturing facility in India thus contributing to “Make in India” campaign on honorable Prime Minister of India. In addition to this, Indorama is also trying it’s bit to make India a self sufficient nation in high end clothing by making this material domestically available.
As a responsible corporate citizen, Indorama Industries Limited (IIL) is conscious of its obligations to the environment and society at large. IIL manufacturing facility at Baddi is a zero waste discharge plant and equipped with solar powered panels for street lights.
